What else should I know about Naviband?
Naviband are a duo made up of members Arciom Lukjanienka and Ksienija Žuk. They also have in-studio members including Uladzislau Cašcavik, Aliaksandr Tabolski and Uladzimir Biehier. The duo formed in Minsk in 2013 and released their first single ‘Abdymi myane’ (Give Me a Hug) in the summer. Their debut album Soncam Sahretyja was released in 2014. The duo then went on to release a second single called ‘Heta ziamlia’ (This Land) in 2014.
As well as this, in 2016 the duo took part in Belarus’ national selection to find a representative for Eurovision. They placed fourth with the song ‘Heta ziamla’. Not a pair to give up easily, they entered again in 2017 and went on to win the competition. They will therefore be representing Belarus at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, and will perform the song ‘Historyja majho žyccia’ at the contest in May.
