On several occasions, the differences that exist between Julio Cesar Chavez and his son Julio have been made clear.
Now, the younger Chavez has been criticising his father in a video that has gone viral.
The video can be seen on TikTok and YouTube and, in it, Chavez Jr. talks about how his father has tried to help him, but has ended up doing the opposite.
"My dad is a legend and is an idol for everyone, but that doesn't mean we have to forget that he doesn't know about business," Chavez Jr. said.
"He doesn't know how to negotiate because he's never done it well.
"He doesn't know how to manage a fighter's career because he's never done it well.
"He has tried to help me, but he hasn't helped me because I'm still the same and he looks down on me."

He also added that Chavez Sr. doesn't respect his space and that this affects his private life because he offends him in front of his partner.
"He is a legend, but he is not a good businessman and people should know that," the younger fighter continued.
"He has to give me my space, my privacy, because it has affected my relationship with my wife.
"Imagine if she sees my dad calling me 'dumb**s', she's going to say 'if your dad calls you that, I'll call you that too."
