Jake Paul vs Andre August LIVE: UK start time, undercard and how to follow as Problem Child returns

Posted by Trudie Dory on Wednesday, May 29, 2024

Jake Paul will return to the ring later tonight to face little-known professional Andre August in his third fight of the year.

'The Problem Child' took some time away from the sport following his defeat to Tommy Fury but returned in August by beating Nate Diaz by unanimous decision

That victory took Paul’s professional record to 7-1 and he has now set aside bouts against MMA stars to try and battle another pro boxer.

A rematch with Diaz or Fury had been hinted at but the YouTuber-turned-boxer is instead ready for a showdown with 35-year-old August, who is 10-1-1 (5 KOs).

At Thursday’s weigh-in, Paul came in at over 16lbs heavier than he did against Fury, registering a career heaviest weight of 199.4lbs, as he looked ripped on the scales.
